June of 2004, I was on a tour of Lake Tahoe on the Nevada side. The tour decided to stop at Virginia City. I walked away from the tour group to a bare spot in the desert, I saw this truck. I started to walk to it through a property that looked like it should have a “Trespassers will be shot” sign. There was this old shack looking house near the truck but I wanted this picture so bad. I took the photo and a second later I heard something crashing sound in the house so I panicked a little and got out of there. I was fortunate to have taken this shot using a favorite film: Ilford 200 SFX black and white film. I was so happy with the result and the entire experience of taking this photo.
